On joining the Network, the cities undertake to share their good practices and develop links that connect the public and private sectors and civil society to:
Reinforce the creation, production, distribution and dissemination of cultural activities, goods and services
Develop hubs of creativity and innovation and increase the opportunities available to creators and professionals of the cultural sector
Improve access to and participation in cultural life, particularly for disadvantaged groups and vulnerable people
Fully integrate culture and creativity in their sustainable development plans
As part of this commitment, Burgos – as a creative city of gastronomy – in addition to increasing the dissemination of activities related to the local products, aims to boost knowledge of the gastronomy as a tool for integration into the world of employment for the unemployed and young people who seek an alternative to studying, as well as for those who for one reason or another may be at risk of social exclusion.
This section is dedicated to this intention to raise awareness of the alternatives that private and public companies offer in Burgos and we hope you find it of interest.
