SUMMARY:UNESCO celebrates World Cities Day designating 66 new Creative Cities
DESCRIPTION:Paris\, 30 October—On the occasion of World Cities’ Day\, celebrated on 31 October\, UNESCO is designating 66 urban settlements that are to join the Organization’s Network of Creative Cities\, which now number a total of 246 members. The Network brings together cities that base their development on creativity\, whether in music\, arts and folk crafts\, design\, cinema\, literature\, digital arts or gastronomy. \nUNESCO creative cities commit to placing culture at the centre of their development strategies and to share their best practices. \n“All over the world\, these cities\, each in its way\, make culture the pillar\, not an accessory\, of their strategy\,” says UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay. “This favours political and social innovation and is particularly important for the young generations.” \nOn 31 October\, UNESCO and officials from 24 cities around the world will celebrate World Cities Day mobilizing the Organization’s different urban networks which focus not only on culture but also on access\, inclusion\, global citizenship education\, defense of rights\, economics and employment\, as well as climate change prevention and resilience. The celebration\, an occasion for “urban dialogues\,” will showcase exceptional cities that rely on innovation and collective intelligence to shape their future. \nIn the framework of a partnership between UNESCO and Netexplo Observatory\, the celebration will also recognize ten cities which use state of the art technological innovation at the service of citizens to transform cities around the world sustainably. DESCRIPTION:Entre el 22 y el 26 de enero se celebra en Madrid la Feria internacional de Turismo FITUR.  \nEste año la gastronomía será protagonista en comunión con la música y el arte que son la línea conductora del festival TRIBU. Festival de Música que se celebra en la ciudad de Burgos en el mes de Septiembre.  \n\nFESTIVAL TRIBU\n\n«Tribu» es un festival urbano multidisciplinar\, mayoritariamente gratuito\, que se celebra en diversos espacios escénicos de la ciudad de Burgos. \nActividades musicales\, artísticas y gastronómicas se dan cita en un marco urbano\, vanguardista\, participativo y accesible. En una clara apuesta por la inclusión de todos los burgaleses y visitantes\, se pretende que Tribu sea el espejo de una sociedad que avanza hacia la diversidad\, la igualdad y el respeto\, a través de la cultura. \nMediante conciertos\, talleres\, exposiciones\, catas e intervenciones artísticas se potencia el poder transformador que la cultura tiene sobre las personas y sobre la imagen de nuestra ciudad \nFestival Tribu obtuvo siete nominaciones en los Premios Fest\nEl festival burgalés contó con las candidaturas a Mejor Festival de Pequeño Formato\, Mejor Festival por Innovación\, Festival Más Sostenible\, Mejor Campaña de Comunicación\, Mayor Aportación Turística a la Región\, el de Diversidad e Igualdad de Género y Mejor Activación de Marca \n\nBURGOS\, CIUDAD CREATIVA DE LA GASTRONOMÍA:\n\nEDUARDO LUENGO ganador del Concurso Nacional de Celiacos e investigador de la harina de grillos\, plato INNOVADOR con este ingrediente principal. \nEduardo Luengo acudirá acompañado de Chelus García Rincón y la Escuela de Hostelería María Madre. \nEl plato reúne los conceptos de GASTRONOMÍA CREATIVA ya que utiliza productos naturales respetuosos con el medio ambiente y productos locales con alto valor nutricional. \nEl plato a degustar se denomina “Dulce Proteína”\, un brownie de chocolate y nueces edulcorado con miel burgalesa y proteína de harina de grillo sobre cremoso chocolate blanco\, aromatizado con zeste de lima\, anís estrellado y frutos rojos del bosque. \n\nMÚSICA: BANDA BURGALESA COWABUNGA \n\nTienen influencias y realizan versiones de grupos como “The Cramps”\, “The B’52s”\, “Dead Kennedys”\, “The Shadows”\, “Mr Bungle” “The Chantays”\, “Ennio Morricone” “Mungo Jerry”\, etc.\nCowabunga ha dado conciertos en salas como El Hangar\, Estudio 27\, Plan B (Salamanca)\, Ciau (Salamanca) o en el “2º concurso de bandas” de La Rua (2º premio); también han participado en el festival “Arcos solidario”\, en el UbuNigth\, en el BaaaRock(Terradillos de Esgueva)\, y han tocado en el MEH (Museo de la Evolución Humana de Burgos)\, en formato acústico. Actualmente continúan dando conciertos por todo el territorio nacional. \n\nARTISTA MURAL- MABEL ESTEBAN\n\nMabel es quizás el mayor nuevo talento artístico de la ciudad.
