SUMMARY:UNESCO celebrates World Cities Day designating 66 new Creative Cities
DESCRIPTION:Paris\, 30 October—On the occasion of World Cities’ Day\, celebrated on 31 October\, UNESCO is designating 66 urban settlements that are to join the Organization’s Network of Creative Cities\, which now number a total of 246 members. The Network brings together cities that base their development on creativity\, whether in music\, arts and folk crafts\, design\, cinema\, literature\, digital arts or gastronomy. \nUNESCO creative cities commit to placing culture at the centre of their development strategies and to share their best practices. \n“All over the world\, these cities\, each in its way\, make culture the pillar\, not an accessory\, of their strategy\,” says UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay. “This favours political and social innovation and is particularly important for the young generations.” \nOn 31 October\, UNESCO and officials from 24 cities around the world will celebrate World Cities Day mobilizing the Organization’s different urban networks which focus not only on culture but also on access\, inclusion\, global citizenship education\, defense of rights\, economics and employment\, as well as climate change prevention and resilience. The celebration\, an occasion for “urban dialogues\,” will showcase exceptional cities that rely on innovation and collective intelligence to shape their future. \nIn the framework of a partnership between UNESCO and Netexplo Observatory\, the celebration will also recognize ten cities which use state of the art technological innovation at the service of citizens to transform cities around the world sustainably. SUMMARY:EL OTOÑO BURGALÉS SEDUCE A 7 BLOGGERS ESPECIALIZADOS EN TURISMO\, GASTRONOMÍA Y ARTE
DESCRIPTION:Burgos\, 12 de diciembre de 2019.- Siete representantes con perfiles de blogs relevantes\, seguidos por lectores de toda España descubrieron la ciudad del 27 al 29 de noviembre conociendo la riqueza gastronómica y cultural de la mano de Promueve Burgos destacando la pertenencia de la capital a la red Creativa de UNESCO.  \nLa temporada de otoño descubre la ciudad en su esencia menos turística\, no por ello menos atractiva para este grupo de profesionales especializados en viajar por todo el mundo y que no han dudado en acercarse a Burgos para conocer la esencia de la cultura y gastronomía desde el punto de vista más local y cercano. \nEl perfil de estos profesionales no es de un grupo de “recién llegados” todos cuentan con amplia experiencia en el sector blog y algunos especialmente interesados en el apartado “Foodie” como es el caso de “Blog del Hedonista” o Zolan Nagy\, especializados en turismo gastronómico y enoturismo a nivel nacional e internacional. \nEl grupo cuenta a su vez con perfiles que conocen bien los recursos culturales de la ciudad y del entorno que nos rodea como La Cosmopolilla\, una granadina que atesora varias experiencias viajeras en Burgos\, o la embajadora local Mónica Ferreiro de «El Viaje de Sofi». \nViajeras también como la cántabra del blog “Imanes de Viaje” ganadora de los premios Bitácoras o la argentina/madrileña de “Sin Mapa.net” que incorpora recomendaciones “veggie” en sus listados gastronómicos se unen al especialista en “bares\, cañas y tapas” de “El viaje me hizo a mi”. \nEstas referencias de ámbito nacional disfrutaron de las visitas guiadas imprescindibles en la ciudad como el Monasterio de las Huelgas o la Catedral\, de la que conocerán que celebra su VIII Centenario.
